2019 – Flyaway Books

This is a heart-warming children’s version of the Good Samaritan...

Our story finds us in a town where only BLUES lived.  There were Navy – Indigo – Aqua – and Sapphire...Powder blue and Midnight blue.  They planted irises and forget-me-nots and feasted on blueberries and blue cheese!  The BLUES thought they were the coolest colours!

The YELLOWS lived in a different town.  There were Gold and Bronze - Lemon and Mustard, Canary and Pale Yellow.  They planted sunflowers and daffodils and feasted on bananas and butterscotch pudding.  The YELLOWS thought they were the hottest colours!

However, the BLUES and YELLOWS did not like each other very much.  They even warned their children not to go near the others.
BLUES and YELLOWS just don’t mix – it’s the way it’s always been and no one remembers why......

One day, Midnight blue has a big fall on the road.
His friends Navy and Powder blue went right by without helping!
A YELLOW comes along and stops to help him – this changes everything FOREVER!

This beautifully illustrated book encourages us all to find new ways to see others and ourselves.

Who is my neighbor?
